Chicken exit query-but not wanting to exit immediately

Little background:

I'm not a thrill seeker-at all!!
I have booked fastpasses for me,dh & dd...(i don't have any clue how to book for 2 &
not the 3 of us-total technophobe)
However, I have no intention of certain attractions..

I'm thinking specifically:

Splash mountain
Space mountain
Everest
Primeval whirl
Rn R

Is there a 'wait area' I can be pushed to (in a manuAl wheelchair) and then my family meet me after their scary adventures?

Or,do I have to wait outside & people watch?

^^if so; how would this affect booking future fps on the day?

You can go through the line and use the chicken exit, if you want to. But, honestly, I’d just wait outside. The amount of time you’d be spending with your family in line is likely very minimal when using a FP. Book the Fastpasses for the thrill rides for just the 2 of them...you can book a FP for the same time for something you want to do, if you wish.

Your DD or DH can take your MB and ride the ride for a second time.

If they don’t want a second ride, give them your MB so they can scan it and theirs when they enter the FP line. Then, when you go to book FP#4 and so on, you won’t have a problem. But, you can easily just choose DH and DD when booking #4 and so on if you have no intention of using the FP.

When you book a fast pass you select who it is for, so booking for 2 is no more difficult than for the entire family.

The line for Everest has all kinds of neat artifacts to see, then when you get to the boarding area, you can always just say "No, I'm not going after all".

I had issues with FP once when I chose not to ride something I had a FP for, and the rest of my fam rode it. So either don’t make the FP if you’re not gonna ride or tap your MB anyway even if you’re not riding, so things don’t get messed up.

For Splash Mountain specifically, the wheelchair access is through the exit. The main queue and FP queue go up a flight of stairs, down a ramp and then when you get to the boarding area you would have to go through the log to get to the exit. So if you are using a wheelchair you would not be able to go with your family.

They don't let anyone stay behind in loading or unloading area. You would need to exit the dock to behind the fence/gate area and in to the gift shop.

This is taken from the load area where you enter the platform, then they send you back to actual loading gates. Where you see the people, they have just unloaded and going into that doorway past them. They don't allow folks to stand on either this or that loading platform. I don't see how they could get you all the way to the gift shop and be allowed back through.

Splash mountain - two different entrances so unless you are riding this won't work, queue is nothing anyway

Space mountain - you can leave and go to the unloading area no issue, can you get yourself there?

Everest - above

Primeval whirl - nothing to see, you can actually see them the whole time in queue. I would wait in the waiting area out front which is covered with fans

RnR - you would have to leave by the chicken exit and go to the gift shop, can you get yourself there?

If you need to be pushed to then I suggest you find a nice place outside to wait and people watch. From experience that can be as much fun as any queue.

FP+
When you book do NOT hit select all, just tap the names booking. You could then book your FP+ for something else that maybe just one of them would want to repeat or ride.

EX: I don't like Speedway and DS1 can't ride SM. So DS2 books SM while DS1 and I book Speedway. When DS2 gets off SM, I give him my MB so he can take DS1 on Speedway. Now I didn't ride either but at least they each got to ride something they like and DS2 rode both.
