Thought I'd bump this up, in case anyone runs across any fall deals. The only thing I've seen recently has been where you can get free museum passes at your local library. (Unfortunately the museums do not include the big ones downtown). Go to museumadventures.org to get the details.

For those of you that use Rainforest Cafe as a little bit of a Disney fix (DTD and AK have one) on Wednesday nights the kids eat for $1.99. We have been to the one in Woodfield several times on Wednesday's and it has been empty. And both times the frog was out in character.

We live in Chicago and our library has the big ones (museums)or did you just mean they are never available to take out?

We live in the suburbs, and do not get those museum passes for the Chicago museums like Chicago residents do. The museum passes I'm talking about are available at a lot of the suburban libraries, but like I say they don't include the big museums in Chicago. A few places I noticed were Kohls Childrens Museum, the Arboretum, and Catigny.
