Chicago Hot Dog at Casey's

Didn't get one (we had dinner reservations for Blue Zoo that nite) but I got a close -up look as we were passing Casey's while exiting the MK. Looked pretty massive and piled high with peppers, etc.

Anyone have one of these and how does it compare to the genuine article???

I haven't had one, but I'm not optimistic. First, a true Chicago dog is made with an all-beef hot dog, which you won't find at Casey's. Second, no pickle (IIRC) and third, no poppyseed buns. Finally, I believe they use banana peppers, not sport peppers, which is pretty much a deal breaker.

I have never had a chicago hotdog but can say that I love the hotdogs at Casey's.

1) It had to be piled high with condiments.
2) The dog and bun are that bad!
3) Since they changed dogs and buns, they are pretty sad.

It's ridiculous. If Sonic can do a halfway decent approximation of a Chicago Dog, so can Disney.

I seem to recall that the hotdog I spotted had something on the top that DID look a bit like sliced banana--

Scupper: It was pretty big--looked like a small submarine .

i did not like them. im from upstate ny. we had better for .70 believe it or not.
my 18 yo loved them though , he just said they were messy.

i did get one without all the stuff and it was better.
