Pssst ... don't tell @FINFAN that I scheduled a vacation in mid-October. I don't want her to think I'm jinxing the post season. I figure my season ticket partners will be happy to go to those play-off games and I'll be home in time for the World Series.

That's what I did in 2016!!! Watched every playoff game (Cubs/LA) outside ESPN on the Boardwalk, but was home in time to watch the Series! Planning the same this October!

Those are great. I especially liked the Van Halen Jump. I remember the players all running out to their positions at the beginning of the game with Jump playing.

OT, but if you guys wouldn’t mind sending some good vibes this way, could use some good faith. My DS’s friend was wounded in the face with shrapnel in the Aurora shootings yesterday. He is an Aurora cop. They have been friends the last 10 years. My DS departs for his move to CO tomorrow morning so fairly rough on DS right now, he can’t get over to see him. His friend will be fine, but...well, just rough news.

Those shootings were so horrible. I'm so sorry your son's friend was one of the officers injured. All the best to your son and his friend. Also, hope your son's move goes smoothly.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers VERY much appreciated. DS was able to reach his friend and hopes to see him in May ( DS has a wedding booked to shoot back here). As DS said, “need to visit the Hero”~ and every officer who entered / answered that call, indeed is one.
