What stores carry CHI flat irons? I see them online at Target, but it says only available online. There are Harmon and Sally beauty supply places near my home, but I don't see these flat irons on their online sites ... so I'm thinking the stores won't have them.

I'm being lazy by asking here! Trying to save myself a lot of phone calls or driving around. :D

Thanks!

Our Target carries them in the store. I got mine from my hair stylist because it was cheaper! :thumbsup2

You can also check Drugstore's website...they usually carry a ton of CHI stuff...:surfweb:

Duh, forgot to answer the rest of the questions! Sheesh. JcPenney has them in their salons too. Trade Secret has them as well, and usually at a slightly cheaper price.

I've seen them at DSW, on the end caps at the check out lines. Believe they were $99.

I've seen them at JC Penney, beauty supply stores (my hairdresser friend will pick up stuff for me sometimes), and Sam's Club. Last year Sams Club had them for a lower cost than I've seen anywhere: $78.00 (give or take a couple dollars), but I don't think they always carry them. I also saw a mini Chi iron, blow drier and backpack deal at Costco...can't remember the price.

our Kroger carries them too, $119.

friend recently bought one off Amazon, free shipping. think it was $80 and came with a 'holder"

bed bath and beyond has them.....don't forget the 20% off coupons they send out occasionally

I bought mine off of Ebay, and DD's from Amazon. Amazon usually has the best prices from what I've seen.

My mom was able to get her stylist to get one for my niece, but it still was cheaper from amazon.

Shipping is usually very fast too.

Be very, very leery of getting CHI irons from places like Amazon. If it's not from a reputable seller, it might be a fake. If it is, then there's no warranty. I bought one from Amazon thinking it was real and it broke, and got royally screwed. Everything from the seller said it was real. Same goes for Ebay. Just a warning, I wouldn't want the same thing to happen to anyone else! :goodvibes

I don't see it online, but I'd swear our Ulta store carries them. I've also seen them at Trade Secret.

Beauty First carries them. But I've found my Fhi flat iron is better quality and costs a bit less.

I was watching this thread over the weekend. I went out & got a Chi today! My close friend has a family member that works in a beauty supply store (the kind that you need a beauty license to buy things at) so she passed along her discount. I paid $87 for the basic 1" black Chi that you see everywhere. Retail in the store on that model was $109.95. I've only used it once (right when I got home of course!) and so far I love it. It's much better quality & straightens better than my old cheap ones. I did get a few Chi products to use as well, but I don't like the smell. Oh well, you know us gal with wavy hair - I"ll put up with the smell if it works!

I wanted to comment on a lot of posts I saw on Amazon - on the negative reviews of Chi items bought there. Many people claimed they were fakes, and that they said made in China or made in Korea. I checked mine when I got home & it says Made in USA. It is quite possible that they manufacture them all over the world, but I thought that was interesting.

My hairdresser got it for me at whatever wholesale store she goes to, I think I paid around $80 for it...it's SO awesome and I love it! I always had a problem w/ other straighteners that my hair would get caught inbetween the casing and the ironing part...but not with this one, and it's nice and thin and works super fast because of how hot it gets...I LOVE it

Folica.com has the 1" Chi for $72.99.
