Does anyone have one? Are they worth the price? Which kind? My dd wants one and I'm totally confused. Why are they so much money? I told her just to wear a hat!!!

They are supposed to be the best ones for your hair. Ulta has a "package" deal on one today. I forgot the price though but try their website www.ulta.com

I couldn't find it! Saw a lot by revlon. Will keep looking. thanks.

I love mine. I love wearing my hair straight, and the Chi is the best one to do this with. It heats up to 350 degrees, so you have to constantly keep the iron moving so as not to burn the hair (like getting those fried ends). It's a fabulous product but not for kids.

I bought my dd17 a CHI last Christmas and she loves it....

It stopped working after about 6 months. I called the co. and it was replaced within a week or so.

She says that the other flat irons just dont work as well

did you buy it online? I was reading epionions and it said that the company will not honor the one year warranty if the iron was bought online.

I have a Hai, which is much like Chi. Totally worth every penny. Look on ebay and you can pick one up new for about $75. Ceramics are much healthier for the hair. A great beauty investment.

I have a ceramic flat iron but it's a Babylis - I have very curly hair and this one works great for me. I'm not sure how much they are where you live but mine was $169 Cdn.

I have a Solia that I purchased from eFollica after reading quite a few reviews of the Hai and Chis dying just after the warrenty expired.

I've heard of these, but I'm not well informed. Why are they healthier for your hair? Do they do anything other than straighten? I mean, will they curl the ends of your hair, etc.?

If you visit www.folica.com, the Sedu I believe is the highest rated straightener currently. I bought one about a month ago and have been very pleased with it.

I just had the Chi Straightening done to my hair. No more need for a flat iron, and my morning routine has never been so easy. I highly recommend it.

All I can say is DO NOT buy a cheap $30 one from WalMart, it will SO damage her hair!

That is what I've read. They are great but don't last too long. ugh.

Thank you all for your responses. I guess I have some more straighteners to research!

I have one and I love it. :goodvibes It holds up really well and makes my hair look great! :teeth: I 've had it for a good 2 1/2 years. :sunny:
