CHH: Photos of Tuna & Hummus??

I had the tuna s'wich when we did the KTTK tour, and I don't recall any onions. I think I would remember because they usually disagree with me. But I remember really liking the s'wich... I am not usually brave when it comes to tuna and chicken salads unless I know who makes it... but it was very good! Of course, I am sure they loaded it with too.

That is exactly my problem with them as well and I also don't take chances with any "salad" sandwhiches, I have to find out what went into them. I'm really happy to hear about the lack of onions as CHH sounds like a better choice for us than Cosmic Ray's but wanted to make sure I could eat that sandwhich. Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have a photo to share, but I can tell you that the Lighthouse Sandwich (the one with the hummus) is FANTASTIC! I would very highly recommend it.

There are red onions in the tuna mix, but they are minced very fine.

The hummus sandwich looks delish! I was going to get it last visit but I got the salad - they used to have the most wonderful salad at CHH but switched to this new salad which was not nearly as good - disappointing! Its the hummus for me this time!

The bread was indeed toasted. I'm not sure if the hummus is the same as at Tangierine Cafe, though. I can tell you that I really enjoyed the hummus at both places, if that helps any. And the broccoli slaw on the sandwich is fabulous!!
