Having not been to DLRP for 10 years I've decided to treat DS to a weekend in October. There's not much difference in price between the Hotel Cheyenne and the Sequoia Lodge (SL seems to be discounted). Where would you stay? I did stay at Cheyenne when it first opened, so know what to expect, but fancy trying SL. I have however read a few ropey reviews recently. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Hi Karen

We haven't stayed at the Cheyene but did stay at the Sequoia in March and really loved it.
We are going in January and again opted for the Sequoia. I think it is really cosy in the winter, especially the Redwood Bar
I can only say our experience of the Sequoia was fab and I would definately recommend it :wizard:

Never been to the Cheyenne before, but to the Sequoia Lodge twice. It has a very cosy atmosphere. And if you place value on a swimming pool, the SL has a nice one.

I'd go for the SL, much as I love the Cheyenne, I do like the walk to and from the parks through the Disney Village :)

Totally agree. With the pool at SL also a distinct advantage :thumbsup2

I would go to the Sequoia Lodge as it is a really great hotel.

Thanks for that. The Sequoia Lodge it is! I've just booked the 3 day, 2 night special for the 19th October. £253 for 2 of us, including passes.

:woohoo: You've booked. Isn't that an exciting feeling!!? You will like the SL!

:woohoo: Great news

I have stayed at the Santa Fe and the Cheyenne. I loved the wild west theming at the Cheyenne. I would stay at either one again, but since there isn't much difference price wise and l like staying at different hotels l think l will give SL a try next time. Nice to stay where there is a pool too. Judging by the comments here SL comes highly recommended. :thumbsup2
