I thought I would share a little trick that works for me. When I start to feel hungry but I know there's only a half hour until lunch, I'll chew a piece of gum. It helps buy me those 30 minutes. I know it doesn't seem like much time but it keeps me from eating extra calories right before lunch. I'll also chew a stick right before I leave work. This helps to keep me from stopping at the many fast food places that I pass on my way home.
My favorite is Orbit Sweet Mint.
