Hey all Cherry Hill people.

I was born and raised there - lived there until I went to college.

:thumbsup2

so the mall opens at midnight... wow! Not that interested in the Disney Store anymore, that is interesting to know.

OK, I grew up at the Cherry Hill Mall and I am totally showing my age...

Does anyone remember Mr Dunderbak's Hot Dogs?
The "Smurf" store?

Since the mall is open at midnight, I wonder if there will be less or more crowds at the Target and Kohls... hmm...

Sicklerville NJ checking in. Gotta admit that I go to cherry hill mall probably more now that there is a Cheesecake factory down the block. LOL.

Getting in and out of that parking lot is nuts even in low crowds. They bottle neck you into one way out. I'm staying clear of that area all together.

That is the worst parking lot ever. A few years ago, I sat in that lot for two hours, just trying to get out and onto 38. There's ONE entrance/exit to that shopping center. All I kept thinking of was "what would happen if an ambulance needed to get into/out of here?". Infuriating.

Now you can park in the mall lot and take the walking bridge across 38. Much much easier!

Here are other secrets:

Psst... there is a "secret" exit behind the Kohls to the movies/Fridays parking lot. There is a worn dirt path that small cars and smaller SUVs (Jeep size) that cars do drive over to go through to the movies lot. Then you drive through the movie lot to catch the light on Haddonfield Road. This is not a very obvious path--and it is pretty worn. Just drive slowly and you can do it. One has already been chained up but another has been done. I did it in my Jeep easily last year.

There is also an entrance to the apartment complex behind Sports Authority. Go behind the Sports Authority near the dumpters. The white fenced apartment comlex has an exit to the access road. I've seen cars take the access road and use the apartment complex as a throughway.

The best bet is parking at the mall and crossing over.

The exit behind Kohl's is good but you have to be careful. Last year on Black Friday there was a Cherry Hill police car parked back there so you could not use it.

Really? I didn't see it. That is our usual exit when it gets really backed up. I'm near that plaza everyday and it doesn't get bad just yet, but it is getting there.

Brio is better than CCF, but McCormick and Shmick's is better than BRIO.

Dh & I just tried McCormick & Schmick's last October. Loved it. Brio is great also but there are so many italian restuarants in SJ, I tend to go to the same ones over and over. I love lunch at CCCF but during the holidays I tend to pick up the cheesecake to go. :thumbsup2
Has any one done the Bucca di beppo across from the Mall?

Thanks, I was completely oblivious about the bridge. I'll have to try that next time!
