I hope he makes a full recovery. It's sad he's had some complications. However, even the White House is joking about the incident:

I hope he's ok, and makes a full recovery, but considering it's a "minor" heart attack and the doctors are still saying he'll be released from the hospital in a week's time, it's still funny, in a twisted way.

Drs are saying what they are told to say, which is why we weren't told there was birdshot near his heart. That penetrated, not superficial like we were all told. Hope he recovers also. He is back in ICU. Maybe he'll quit hunting now

I don't know why you're assuming that doctors would lie about the man's condition.

Because they are Bush's doctors and they lied yesterday about the wounds being superficial!

There was a terrible incident here a few years back - some illegal immigrants died after being forced to work in horrific conditions. They were drowned.

The next day my flatmate had a flotilla of jokes about it.

The point is, sometimes even the most serious of incidents can be made light of, appropriately or inappropriately. It really depends on whether you are of a particular psyche or not - some people have it, some don't.

Those that do can act how they want - those who don't have an equal right to express their disapporoval but NOT the right to silence them.
