Neither are the quails that got shot in this "canned hunt".
If Cheney can't shoot straight in a canned hunt he should have his license revoked! ..at least...and then the cover up

Kind of like when they demand that the "office of the president" deserves such massive respect...a few short years after Clinton was made the butt of any number of jokes.

Sorry...the guy lived, is in "very stable" condition, according to the latest reports, and thus I don't see why everyone is getting their unmentionables in a bunch that people are making fun of Cheney for it.

Just to form a little perspective. It was birdshot, not buckshot. Buckshot is a shotgun shell with nine pellets that are .32 caliber. Birdshot is about 400 very small pellts that fit in the same sized shell. Buckshot at up to 70 yards can be extrely lethal. Birdshot will usually not kill you over about 40 yards. Both are dangerous and if you hunt you need to be extremely careful and know what your doing. You make sure every shot is clear before you take it. I have been shot with bird shot and while it can hurt like h*** it very seldom kills you. I don't know the details of the hunt they were on but can tell you from experience when you flush a covey of quail it can spook you. Not the kind of hunting a guy like Chaney with a heart condition needs to be doing. Usually in Texas if you shoot somebody in a hunting accident it gets investigated by law officials. I wonder if anyone is looking into this one? By the way when I caught my few pellets in the back I was laughing about it too after I yelled at the guy who did it and took his gun away from him.

I am not a bleeding heart...I beleive strongly in gun rights. And like every good conservative should beleive, you should keep your eye on the government, and make sure that they are:
a) behaving
b) not interferring in your life
