Dawn: "Right. Yeah. You might want to do that." She looked down awkwardly.
Jordan: He nodded, "Please be here for me when I get back. This is going to be rough." He started the familiar walk to Jaycee's house. Getting to the door he rang the doorbell, took his hood down and kept his hands in his pockets. Jaycee's mom answered, she smiled widely. He hugged her sadly it might be the last time. Seeing Jaycee standing behind her he said "Jaycee, we need to talk. Can we go for a walk?"
Jaycee: She nodded, she wondered what was going on. The phrase 'we need to talk' didn't sound good. She walked outside and started down the sidewalk.
Jordan he walked next to her. He didn't know how to start. He stopped walking "Jaycee, while I was out some crazy things happened. I was almost killed, multiple times, I made really close friends, and well, I feel in love."
Jaycee: She bit her lip, tears started to form "with Dawn?" she managed to say quietly.
Jordan: He nodded "I'm sorry Jaycee, I know I loved you, but I don't feel it anymore. I've changed and this, it isn't the same as it used to be."
Jaycee: "wait, are you breaking up with me!? Jordan I was there almost the whole time waiting for you to wake up, I thought about you every second, I comforted your mom!! You aren't even giving our love a chance!"
Jordan: "I'm sorry Jaycee, It's just that with Dawn I know, we've been through so much together."
Jaycee: "you and Dawn? Jordan!! we've been together for almost two years! WE'VE been through a lot together!!"
Jordan: "Jaycee, I-I'm sorry I can't explain it, it's just that-"
Jaycee: "Stop!!" she screamed cutting him off tears were running down her face "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" Her hand went up to her neck, she grabbed her necklace and yanked on it breaking the clasp. She threw it at him, hard. She turned and stormed back to her house. Tears rushed from her eyes. She went straight into her room slamming the door behind her. She flopped onto her bed and wept.
Jordan: He caught the necklace and put it in his pocket. He put his hood back up and walked back to Dawn. He felt miserable, tears filled his eyes.
