David: he sighed and pulled her into a hug. "I don't like this, Gwen. You have no idea how much it hurts."

Brittany and Nate: they went into the lobby

David: He held her tight against his chest. "I can't even control my body anymore. It's not fair." He let out a quiet sob. "I don't want to have to burden you with taking care of me, you already have enough on your plate. Maybe we should hire a nurse or something, it would help to have another set of hands around here. Or maybe we could borrow Nate from Marcus."

Trent: He got up and went into the bathroom. He stripped down and got into the tub. He liked taking baths. He relaxed in the bathtub and closed his eyes. He tilted his head back and slowly fell asleep, the water tickling his chest.

Kennedy: She took a seat. "It's - it's not fair."

David: He held her tight against his chest. "I can't even control my body anymore. It's not fair." He let out a quiet sob. "I don't want to have to burden you with taking care of me, you already have enough on your plate. Maybe we should hire a nurse or something, it would help to have another set of hands around here. David: He nodded. "I know. I know. It's just terrifying, realizing that your body is breaking and there's nothing you can do about it, but just wait until you die." He sighed and shook his head. "I should just shut up. We need to get you a seeing eye dog today, and if you want you could go wedding dress shopping. I could also see how Nate feels about staying here for a while, when I get really bad, to help you out with everything."

David: "My health is deteriorating faster than I would've hoped. I'm going to get really bad pretty soon, and I probably have a little over a month to live. So, at some point, if you're okay with it, I was wondering if you could stay with us, to help Gwen during and after my death. It would mean a lot to both of us."
