Flying Fish Cafe for Mothers Day Dinner? I've always wanted to eat at Chefs, but we've always passed it up. I was going to book it. Now we're staying on the Boardwalk and Flying Fish caught my eye! :teeth: They both are convenient to get to and look tasty so I thought I'd get some opinions. ;)

They're two different menus and dining experiences. I've eaten at both and like them both, but if I was choosing between the two FF wins by a landslide. I've eaten there twice (5/04 and 11/05) and both times our meals were perfect. Our last dinner there was so good that we considered going back a few nights later.

If I was staying at the BW it would make my choice that much easier. :)

We had a great meal at Chefs, but my parents went to FF on the same trip and said that it was the best meal they have ever eaten in their life.

Based on that I would try FF

I've never eaten at FF, but I will tell you that we ate at CDF on our latest trip and I was disappointed. The building was beautiful, but I just wasn't loving the food. I actually felt sick the rest of the day after eating there. It was all just really, really rich. I'm sure there are probably plenty of people that will rave about it, but I am just not a big fan. Just my humble opinion.

I haven't eaten at FF either, but was also severely disappointed with CdF. The building is lovely, the cheese plate was very nice & the desserts were divine, but the entrees were bland, the sides with the entrees were pretty awful, the server & manager were arrogant & the whole attitude came off as pretentious.

Personally, if I were looking for a wonderful meal in the Boardwalk/Epcot area, I would go to BlueZoo. It is outstanding. It is our new Favorite, Must-Do WDW restaurant by a landslide.

I have eaten at both, and I won't be going back to either. Spend a little more money and go to V&A imo :)

I love both restaurants, but I think Flying Fish would be more special. Try Les Chefs de France for lunch at some other point in your trip. You won't be dissapointed in either place!

We've been to both and neither are top pics for us. I do prefer the FF of the two although next time I would be sure to get something grilled over that wood fire.

I have been to both mulitple times and like them both, but think that the Flying Fish is better. I have never had a bad meal there, and I really like the decor. If you like seafood, go to Flying Fish.

Thanks for all the input. FF it will be!! I love seafood and I think Dh will enjoy it too.
Blue Zoo looks awesome, I think that will be a definite for any nite during our stay.
Thanks everyone!!! :wave2:
