I was reading a thread that an Intimate Bride posted regarding Citricos. The Chef's Domain sounds like a lovely choice for a more "private dinnner" and would accomodate a small party like ours. I was wondering if when you made the ADR 180 days out if there are specific times that the Chef's Domain is offered/available? Our ceremony is at 5:00pm and I was concerned about timing.

That was me! We had our dinner at the Chef's Domain in July. There are 2 seatings available for that room, the first is at 6 PM and the second is at 8:30 PM (I believe). The room seats 12 and there is a minimum expenditure of $650. Our wedding was at 4 PM at the WP and our ADR was for the 6 PM seating. Our WC actually made the ressie for us probably less then 90 days in advance. We didn't start planning our wedding until late March early April. Considering what a busy time July is in WDW, I thought we were quite lucky that we got the room and the time we wanted. It was a great spot for our special dinner and I highly recommend it. The food, service and room were perfect for our little party!! If you have any other questions, just ask!

Happy Planning!!

Hi Beth,
Thanks for the reply!! Just when I think I have found the perfect solution...my VR is at 5:00pm so the first seating, which I was hoping for, would really be pushing it. The 8:30pm would work out find except I would have to find something for my guests to do between the ceremony and dinner. I guess we could sit in the main dining room, but was hoping for a more intimate gathering.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there anywhere to get cocktails in the GF lobby? I was thinking with ceremony, cake cutting, pictures I figured 1.5 hours. Limo ride over another twenty or so minutes. So from 7:00-8:30pm we would have a big gap. I thought about moving the ceremony time, but the only other afternoon slot is 2:30pm, I was looking for more of an evening feel. Now if they would just let me have the ceremony at 4:30pm..... :rotfl2: (I don't think rules are ever made to be broken with DFTW!! :rotfl: )

Thanks!! :grouphug:
