Chefs de France????

How's the food? We have ADRs there and I really want to know what it's like. I've eaten at most of the other restaurants around the World Showcase but that one.

We had dinner there recently and really liked it. I had the filet of sole, my DD12 and DH had the rotesserie (sp?) chicken with mashed potatoes. My DD8 had the hamburger from the kids menu. We were on the dining plan and they did not have an appetizer on the kids menu. It wasn't a big deal though...my DD8 shared our appetizers. The restaurant is beautiful, try to sit by the window if you can.

We had lunch there on our most recent trip. I had no complaints. For an appetizer, I had a tomato & goat cheese tarte that I absolutely fell in love with. I had the macaroni & cheese which didn't impress me. DH and ILs had the lunch special (french onion soup, croque monsieur, creme brulee) and everyone enjoyed their meal.

I love the macaroni & cheese. DH has had 2 different steaks there and thought they were both just OK (he also thought the steak at Le Cellier was just OK though--he's very particular about his steaks!).

I've never had a bad meal there. I think the food is good. We've had good service there too. One time our server was just ok, but other times we've been happy. Hope you enjoy it!

My parents and I always get the french onion soup for a light (but still filling, imo) dinner, and we get a dessert as well. I love that soup. Sadly, for the first time we didn't get to eat there this past June. They weren't taking walkups, ADRs only; so good for you to have them. We've always had wonderful waiters; some are easier to understand than others (in 04, our waiter had just come over from France a couple of days before and obviously and understandably wasn't used to, as he said, "American accents" ). I've always thought they've had the best wait staff of any WDW restaurant I eat at. Hope you enjoy it!

We've eaten there 3 times. The 1st time we had the CP package. Service and food were excellent.

The 2nd time was a couple of years ago. I didn't really care for where we were seated. It was on the left side towards the front of the restaurant where tables are so close you can' help but hear your neighbor's conversation. The food was still very good, the service was good, but the seating took away from it a little.

The 3rd time was this October. We had a wonderful meal on the dining plan and fantastic service. It was one of our favorite WDW meals of all time.
