Chefs de France?

Have ADR for Chefs de France for dinner and we;re on the dining plan this time. Does anyone know if the pre-fixe menu is part of the dining plan? I thought I heard that it was.

Yes it is. No substitions allowed at all though.

Yes we have done it there on regular DDP twice and will be dining there again this xmas week trip. There are no substitutions, but we love the choices and have had great meals there...nice way to get the apps on regular DDP. We have also done the price-fix menu at Kona Cafe, Captains Grille, Le Cellier.

Please be kind.....I know "no substitutions" ....does this mean if you got the salad you have to get blue cheese dressing? My dh would get this and I don't think he would like that dressing...didn't know if there was a different one he could get.

It's entirely possible they will substitute small items like salad dressing. I think what it means is that you can't ask for a course that isn't on the prix fixe menu, although I do believe Le Cellier wont even let you substitute the sides (you can't swap out rice for potatoes, for example, don't know if that would apply to salad dressing). If they won't substitute the dressing, ask for it on the side or just have it left off.
