Is Remy still at Chefs de France? And if so, is he there at lunch? My dd is begging me to make a reservation there so she can see Remy!

We were at Chefs de France last July for lunch and Remy visited our table.

His rounds begin at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 and 5:20 Monday - Saturday.

I recommend that you make your reservation at least 30 minutes before the start of one of his rounds because you have to be seated when he visits. If you are in the process of being seated or are away from your table when he comes by, he will not return and you cannot go up to him.

It would also be best to prepare your daughter for the possiblity that he will not appear. Remy is a complex audio-animatronic figure that can break down unexpectedly. It has even been reported that he has had to leave midway through one of his rounds.

We have seen Remy several times and have always enjoyed his visits.

If we made an ADR at 5:00 p.m. and arrive a little early, what are our chances of seeing Remy on a Monday? I didn't know if we were waiting on a table when they come out and if then seated and he has already gone through that section of the restaurant, do they come back through for those that may have been seated after making their first pass. Hope that makes sense?!?

if he has already gone through that section of the restaurant, do they come back through for those that may have been seated after making their first pass. No and since the 5:20 circuit is the last of the day you will miss him. One time Remy was at our table while a group was being seated at an adjacent table. By the time they were seated, Remy had moved on. He did not come back. Considering the number of tables in the restaurant and the fact that he makes the complete circuit in about an hour there isn't time to double back.

.

Thanks for the information Kim! Looks like I'll need to adjust our lunch time ADR.

Not great..They do NOT backtrack. If you are not seated,in the bathroom or for some other reason not in your seat and you miss him, you miss him.I would make a dining ressie for EARLIER than 5pm if you want a chance of seeing his last rounds at 530pm.I had a 5pm adr, showed up EARLY and still got seated late and completely missed him.

Not great..They do NOT backtrack. If you are not seated,in the bathroom or for some other reason not in your seat and you miss him, you miss him.It is not like a tradtional character meal where they come back around to catch people they may have missed.I would make a dining ressie for EARLIER than 5pm if you want a chance of seeing his last rounds at 520pm.I had a 5pm adr, showed up 15 mins EARLY and still got seated late and completely missed him.
