Can you tell me about your experiences there? Ambiance? Uniqueness of food compared to other restaurants in big cities (e.g. is a steak is a steak a steak?)? Customer service? Photos of foods you liked and didn't?

Hi,
Ate there in December for the first time and really enjoyed it. My partner had the sscargot and it was really good. I had the flatbread for appetizer.
For entrees we both had the
"Noix de Saint Jacques et gambas sautees Flan d'epinards, sauce a l'oseille: Sauteed scallops and black tiger shirmp served with spinach flan and sorrel sauce"
It was really good.
For desserts we had the crepes which were good but have had better. I would definitely try it.

The ambiience in there was really nice. We sat by a window which was great.

The waiter was very nice and kept up with our drinks.

Hope it helped a little.

Thanks Scottny. We love escargot and scallops! Glad to hear you had such a great experience!

We loved it there. Our waitress was new and she was really funny. She was cute with her accent. Everytime she brought us our plates she would say "Bon Appetite" lol.

Our food was very good. I had the macaroni and cheese. It was not your typical mac and cheese which was cool.

Oh and the french onion soup was really good from there.

We went last April (got the ressie for dinner just 2 hours before we showed up) and we sat by the windows, it was a great view! The server was super slow but the food was awesome! We went right when they opened and it got packed fast and a bit noisy. We are just 2 people so we were at a small table and felt like our neighboring diners were right on top of us, the tables were pretty close together

We've eaten there a few times and it's always been a great experience, especially if you're sitting near the window and can see all the people going by drooling! :lmao:

They have the best appetizer in all of WDW here, escargot - it is amazingly good - we don't plan on eating here in May, but I may stop to see if I can get the escargot as a take out!!!

We ate there in January and I thought the food was very bland and uninspired. Our appetizers - the escargots and the onion soup - were very good, but the entrees were dull. I was rather disappointed, since we have a nice braisserie in my town and was hoping for similar food but in a more casual setting, but it was boring food (not well seasoned, not a thoughtful plate) in a noisy setting. I won't bother going back there.

I've eaten there once several years ago and would never go back. The atmosphere is nice but not Disney enough for me (although that may be just what you are looking for) and the food was not all that exciting. And as I stated in numerous other threads on here, we were served completely uncooked creme brulees. We haven't been back and after eating the French food at the F&W festival we probably never will.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess we just need to try it out. It sounds like something we could love!

we went the last two years...i think my over all opinion is that the food was not spectacular but better than average, but the service and ambience really make it worth while. The waitresses were all nice and the place is just beautiful. Hope you go and hope you like it.

I ate there for lunch in December and LOVED it. I had the "French menu" which is the onion soup (delicious!), croque monsieur (pictured below - also delicious), and creme brulee (again, delicious!). I thought the service was great and also had a "window seat" and enjoyed watching the people out walking around World Showcase.

Hope you enjoy it!

I guess we're lucky, we've had really good food and service at Chefs. It has become one of our favorite TS restaurants at WDW and we're eating there twice on our upcoming trip. We've had good luck with salads, seafood, and steak here. We've eaten lunch there a number of times and I really like their wine pairings with the lunch entrees. I speak a little French and so that has been fun with the servers, who have indulged my no-doubt awful accent and who have been completely delightful.
