Chefs De France

We ate a wonderful lunch there many years ago.

Last year we had a TERRIBLE experience. Food was ok, but it was so noisy crowded and chaotic we have no plans on returning. Tables were too close together, and I had the children at the next table literally in my lap. We had 30 min wait after our ADR time (and we arrived 10 mins early) so needless to say it was packed and impossible to request a different table. Our poor waiter was harried and having to deal with several tables with folks who were unhappy with everything he did.

For what its worth, its the only TS we did in 2008 (our 1st experience with the DDP) that we will return to on our 2009 trip next month.

It was among our favorite meals (along with Brown Derby and Capt'n Jack's). Brown Derby is signature dining and Capt'n Jack's took the lobster tails (my wife's absolute favorite dinner) off the menu. For 1 TS, we can't beat Chefs De France.

Good food, but felt a bit rushed. As I was reaching for the other half of my dinner roll the waitress came and asked me was I finished. I said no. She left in embarassment. ;)

DW & I eat here on eevry trip since 1996. We love it. Normally do lunch, find it less crowded. The food is awesome, have everything from the French Menu to entrees such as the salmon, never had a problem. Like a pp stated it can get loud and crowded and the tables are close together. Having said that we still think that it is one of the dining options on the property. Enjoy.

I got engaged at Chefs! Soo..needless to say, I'm a bit biased.

The desserts are some of my favorite, though!

I had dinner there a couple of weeks ago. Loved the salmon appetizer. Honestly I thought the shrinp and scallop entree was bland. Cooked perfectly but bland. And they tried serving it to me while I was still eating my appetizer. I would go back, but it hasn't joined my "must do" list

I agree with you Marmar,

We just got back last night...had dinner at Chefs on Tuesday night. We are a couple in our 40's celebrating our anniversary and we're looking forward to a somewhat romantic dinner there.

We were seated in the middle of a large row of tables, only ones. No sooner did we order and a large family with small children was seated a mere 5 inches from my right side. 5 minutes later, a large family with small children was seated direstly five inches from my left side with a large man right next to my wife.

He was closer to her than I was, LOL! The second family was loud and boisterous and made for a very uncomfortable situation, so as soon as our food arrived, which was not great, the cassoulet was not good, we quietly asked for our check, dropped $100 and high-tailed it out of there.

I recommend if you are a couple to splurge for the Bistro upstairs for a bit more quiet and space.
