Chefs de France - price fix 3 course?

First time ever having the dining plan. So excited. Can we order the price fix 3 course option at Chefs de France in Epcot on the dining plan? Are there restrictions on what we can order it terms of within the catergory? The entrees at the same rest. can be $15 - $25. I don't want to have the family looking forward to a special meal only to find out we can only order the cheaper items on the menu. Thanks.

Yes, you can order the prix fixe lunch or dinner on the dining plan. However, you can only choose the appetizer, entree and dessert from the 2 or 3 items listed in each category. Absolutely no substitutions so if there's something on the menu that you want which isn't included in the prix fixe choices you won't be able to substitute it. Many people on the regular dining plan like the prix fixe menus which are offered at several restaurants because it includes an appetizer.

Just to clarify what Kim correctly stated:
You can order any entree from the regular menu OR you can order the prixe fix menu (which includes an appetizer but with no substitutions).

Given how much Disney charges for the plan, they can't limit you to the cheaper entrees. You lose money on the plan any time you order an entree less than about $26, or an entire meal less than $35.

Le Menu used to offer only one soup, entree and dessert. Now you have two or three items to choose from in each category. However, the price has increased a lot in recent years.

Restaurants that I can think of that have a prix fixe offering:

Les Chefs: lunch, dinner
Le Cellier: lunch
San Angel Inn: lunch, dinner
Nine Dragons: lunch (but no dessert listed), dinner
Kona: dinner
Captain's Grill: dinner

Marrakesh has the Moroccan feast at dinner, but it has an upcharge on the DDP
