We have our choice of lunch or dinner at Chefs.

I actually don't like cheese very much ( a little is OK....) and prefer veggies and fish over meat so would lunch or dinner be a better choice?

We are on the dining plan so another question is.... are we limited as to what entree we can order or would the veggie lasagna (on the dinner menu) be covered on the dining plan?

Thanks for your help!

Being someone else who is not as fond of cheese heavy dishes, I would vote for dinner at Les Chefs. I really like the beef short ribs, which is on the prix fixe menu at dinner only.

On the DDP, you can order any entree on the menu (so, yes, at dinner you can order the vegetarian lasagna). If the entree is on the dinner menu and you are going at lunch, then more than likely you cannot order it. You can also get the Prix Fixe menu on the DDP, but the lunch entree options are fairly cheese heavy.

Neither! Their menu doesn't look that appetizing to me. Wasn't I such a big help? lol!

We just had dinner there last week and we completely enjoyed our meals. I got the Beef tenderloin and I could cut it with a fork. DH got the lobster bisque for appetizer and whatever he got for entree he loved. Can't really remember.

We've been at lunch time as well. i don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Depends on if you're interested in seeing Remy or not. We go to lunch there for that very reason. If it doesn't matter, dinner is a great choice!

I much prefer the lunch over dinner there. But, for the reason that you are not a big cheese fan, then I would probably say dinner. There is probably a larger selection to choose from. I love the lunch prix fixe menu, but my favorites from that are the Quiche Lorraine - ham and the cheese quiche and Croque monsieur et sa salade verte - classic French toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a green salad.

Anyway, the other reason we prefer the lunch over dinner is that we just seem to have bad luck there anymore when we do have dinner. Most frequent problem we have had is the food comes out luke warm. While it can be sent back, it is just a hassle, especially when it has happened more than once for us. On the flip side, we have always had wonderful lunches there. In regards to both the food and the service.

Most of Remy's times are during lunch (12:30, 1:40, and 2:50), but his last rounds start at 5:20 pm, which is during dinner. So it is possible to have dinner at Les Chefs and see Remy (my family did this on our last trip). If the OP is interested in seeing Remy, note that he doesn't make the rounds on Sunday.

Our dinner there last month was the only truly horrid meal we had all week. I can't imagine dining there again at night. So if I had to choose between lunch and dinner, I would choose lunch, thus going with the Devil that I don't know.
