All have times available around the time I want for Dinner.

Help me pick. I've never tried any of these. Wanting something new.

We're already doing Tutto earlier in the week.

Edit: We are two adults and one 6 year old who can be picky.

It depends on what you are looking for.

Biergarten is the most fun.
Chefs has the best food.

I'm not a fan of Rose and Crown, but that is just a personal preference. The food is not bad it's just not my thing.

My kid does love a hot dog. She hasn't figured out that it's meat yet, I don't think. She doesn't like the idea of eating animal (from a very early age). It's strange. Anyway, her father and I eat about anything.

It does sound like she'd have fun there.

With a picky child Biergarten may be your best option, it is a buffet so there will be a variety of offerings.

My page got locked up. Sorry for the double post.

I sent my husband the menus, and he thinks that Biergarten will work out best. :)

We are eating at all 3 for our upcoming trip so we like them all! But we prefer Chefs and R&C for lunch. With a picky little one, I agree that Biergarten may be the best choice. There seems to be something for everyone on the buffet and the entertainment is really fun.

We've had dinner at all three and lunch at Chefs.

No question for us--here's the ranking:

1. Chefs
2. Rose & Crown
3. Biergarten

All of them have kid friendly food, so don't worry about that.

I have actually been to all three!

1. Biergarten (I have a very picky 7 year old and he eats well there) I love German food wherever it is too though so I might be biased!
2. Les Chefs De France- best food perhaps but looonnnggg meal with kids
3. Rose & Crown.. didn't like the food.

Good luck!

Chefs de France-was r best meal the entire trip :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
I think this ones wins over the other two in my opinion.
Biergarten - on my 2 do list for next Aug heard all good.
Rose & Crown - on my 2 do list for next Aug heard all good.

We just got back earlier this month and had dinner at all three.

Les Chefs had the best food. We booked an early dinner to see Remy, who makes his last turn around the restaurant starting at 5:20, except on Sunday. He was delightful. Your 6 year old would probably enjoy seeing him.

Biergarten was also good and there's entertainment and a chance for the kids to get up and dance.

Rose & Crown was a disappointment this time, but it was always good in the past and the reviews have been good overall so perhaps the chef was having an off night. My daughter's dinner was way too salty. It was a new item on the menu and the waiter said it was still being tweaked.

Might I suggest - Lunch at the fish and chip place next to Rose and Crown (uses the same fish), hot dog or pretzel snack in Germany and then Dinner at Chefs? That way you can get all three!

Never been to Chefs, my family just doesn't really care for French and the cost is a little high. My girls are a bit picky and didn't really like Biergarten, but loved Rose and Crown. Fish is very good and the Sticky Pudding is yummy. I think one kid had Shepherds Pie and really liked it. I agree with the other post, try the fish and chips at the Yorkshire County Fish and Chips and have dinner at one of the others.

Biergarten is the most fun. Chefs is the most over-rated. :) (Never been to Rose & Crown to say one way or t'uther.)

Chefs is fine, it just isn't AMAZING!!!!!! like so many reviews seem to make it out to be. A French version of Applebee's, not fine dining, though it is certainly more upscale than the Biergarten. Our meal there was just so-so and the wait was long and service a little slow. We'll go back at some point, but probably for lunch, and are in no great rush to do so. The Biergarten has a big variety and the entertainment is great, and they let the kids come down and dance and such.

Thanks so much! I got an ADR at Biergarten for that night! I'll be sure to report back!

Chefs is def. not fine dining, I don't think it is meant to be, it is def more provencial in it's offerings. I find they offer simple food done well. I do prefer lunch over dinner there, to me it is more of a lunch place.
