just booked for our 1st night at the BCV - dinner 620pm - using last night on our AKL Dining Pkg. Guess where DH will be wearing his tux?! at least its close to the Intl Gateway! After dinner we'll walk back to get him out of his tux and bring back our leftovers. Hows the desserts? didnt see on the Chefs de France dinner menu. Whats better here? fish, chicken, steak? Is it good for the picky eater DS?

DS & I have lunch booked in Italy earlier in the week which also had availability so I decided on France - couldnt get LeCellier.

We love Chefs. We have had wonderful food and service there and I have made ADRs for Dec. The onion soup is terrific. We really liked the fish that is wrapped in potatoe slices with a lobster sauce. Desserts have all been yummy, especially the creme brulee. I hope you enjoy your meal.

Maybe Bistro de Paris would be better suited for wearing a tux.

I'm quite comfortable in shorts and a tank top at chefs de france. Won't he feel out of place there when the rest of the patrons are wearing theme park attire?

We were there last week and really enjoyed the food. Me and my ds-9 shared a plate of Escargot, it was not bad (but I've had better). Lamb shank was sooo delicious even my son loved it! We had this dessert called something Opera that was very good, chocolate wafer like thing with ice cream. Yum!

Me and DH ate there last time. Although I dunno why your DH is wearing a tux. Theres no dress code. But anyways the food and service there is AMAZING! :thumbsup2 It was the best french cuizine I EVER had. The chicken is to die for! And their deserts, cant remember what we had, but I was in HEAVEN! :cloud9: We are gonna be eating there next time we go down.

Is bistro on the plan? I have not seen it listed as being on it.
Bistro de Paris isn't but Les Chefs de France is. They are two different restaurants.

I wouldn't wear the tux. Most people have been in the parks and are "Disney casual."

The food is great, the service wonderful. We loved it! Wish we'd had more nights so we could have gone back on our last trip.....too many restaurants, too few nights.
