Should we go for Breakfast or Dinner? It will be DH (steak & ribs kinda guy) DS (age 2 1/2, loves all foods) and Me

We like dinner for CM. Breakfast foods are not our cup of tea. We'd rather eat a small breakfast and eat a larger dinner. (yes I know, not recommended, but that is what we like)

If your DH is a steak kind of guy, he should like the dinner. They serve a beef strip loin that is very good. And he can eat all he wants.
The night we went they had chicken and ham as well.
I am a beef nut and love to go there to eat just the beef and mashed potatoes. LOL
They do have a couple cold salad dishes that are very good to, so I do eat some veggies. But not alot....lol

We are trying Chef Mickey's for breakfast this September but normally go for dinner. The parmesan mashed potatoes are super tasty! We also like the Mickey shaped raviolis.

We've only had dinner there, but have enjoyed it every time.

We've always gone for dinner. We're not morning big breakfast people. The variety of the dinner buffet is pretty good.

We prefer to make our big ticket meal dinner. We have had dinner there and found it to be very good. In fact we are going again this year.

We are not big fans of CM. We have eaten both breakfast and dinner there, and breakfast was a little bit better than dinner but not by much. The breakfast is typical standard breakfast fare. As for the character interaction, all the characters seemed too rushed for us. There are many other character meals on property and in resorts that are much better than CM...IMHO.

There's something charming about the idea of breakfast at Chef Mickey's. It probably stems from nostalgia, for many of us have memories as a child of riding the express monorail to the Magic Kingdom and seeing Mickey Mouse walking around the restaurant. For that reason, I recommend breakfast over dinner, and I'm not even a breakfast eater, traditionally.

Also, and I say this only partially in jest, it's a lot tougher for the lackluster kitchen staff there to ruin waffles and scrambled eggs than prime rib and roast chicken.

We've eaten breakfast there and it was great! This year we have adr for dinner there and are hoping it is just as good! I say it really depends if your big breakfast eaters or not

We have only eaten dinner there - but I voted breakfast because I can't recommend dinner.

We've eaten at CM for both dinner and breakfast. We love the breakfast there. Lots of choices--many fresh fruits, yogurts, casseroles, waffles, bacon, eggs, you name it, all of which was very tasty. Dinner--not so much. Food was just ok. The character interaction is great for either.

we went for breakfast and thought it was horrible. Tasteless lukewarm food. Didnt like the selection. But thats just my opinoin! Having said that, since breakfast was gross, i'd suggest dinner (even thou i've never tried it!).
