Chef Mickeys'

We will be staying at the Port Orleans in a couple of weeks and have reservations at Chef Mickey in the Contemporary Resort at 9:15 a.m. We are trying to find the best way to get from our resort to Chef Mickeys. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Simply take the resort bus to Magic Kingdom, then take the monorail to the Contemporary Resort, and you're there!

You could also walk from the Magic Kingdom over to the Contemporary?? We did that and it was a very nice walk - maybe 5 mins?

I agree about using the walkway when you arrive to the Magic Kingdom, because from the bus station your already half way to the Contemporary and it would take longer walking to their Monorail station.

Or go to Epcot and take the Monorail.

we learned the hard way that going to epcot is never the short way! Just go to MK and then walk away from the park to CR, it's much faster and it's really easy.

Definitely walk! We took the bus and then the monorail once, but it would have been much faster and nicer to walk. That's our plan when we go back in April!

If you are lucky, your bus driver might take you directly to the Contemporary Resort after they drop off the Magic Kingdom group. We asked our bus driver and he said yes. It never hurts to ask. All they can do is tell you no and you get off at MK and walk or take the monorail.
