Chef Mickey's

My husband and I tried Chef Mickey's on our honeymoon and didn't care for the food (dinner), our son (2) would love the atmosphere but we still can't get past the food. Did we maybe go on a bad night? How is breakfast there? Thanks!

My family and I have been there for dinner a few times and we didn't find anything wrong with it. However based on what I have read on here the breakfast items is a lot more popular then dinner items.

We actually like dinner at Chef Mickey's very much. Its not gourmet at all, but I love the salad bar with the peel and eat shrimp and I enjoy the mashed potatoes and desserts. Breakfast is also good (and cheaper). I think your son would love having dinner with the Mouse! Give it a try, you may have just caught it on a bad night. We go mostly for the atmosphere at this one and all other character meals. But my experience at Chef Mickey's for dinner (done dinner about five times in the past five years I would guess and breakfast I think four times) has been positive. Again, not gourmet but still good!

We have had 1 dinner and 2 breakfasts at CM. the dinner was fine, then again it was our first night at the World from a long day of traveling and the kids meeting Mickey and friends for the first time was just incredible (and far overshadowed the food even if it was signature quality). We enjoy breakfast on vacation. You can't really go too wrong with Mickey waffles! And it is a fun way for the kids to start the day. Don't be afraid to try breakfast.

We always do Chef Mickey's on our first night at Disney. We love it.

We took our 2 boys there for our 1st night. They were 4 and 2. It was great to meet the characters. The food was adequate, not the best we had, but not bad. The kids loved the sundae bar! They talked about it all week!

You really can't go wrong with Chef Mickey's!

We didnt like the dinner foods at Chefs either but we did breakfast there on March 8th and it was very very good...tons of pics in my March link
