Chef Mickey's

I am planning to make ADR for chef mickey's. I have a DD that is turning 2 on this trip. I wanted to know if any one could tell me how is the food.

We love Chef Mickey's and we all enjoy the food. I wouldn't say that it's the best food that will cross your lips but we left satisfied. The atmosphere more than makes up for any lackings. We always like to go to CM on our first night and it just kind of kicks off our vacation!

Chef Mickey's is a BLAST! We celebrated my DD's third birthday there. We went the morning she was turning three and they brought her a cupcake and placemat and it was so special.

She also wore her Minnie Mouse costume that day and Minnie thought that was the greatest!

I highly reccomend Chef Mickey's. The place is lively and fun, and the breakfast buffet is great. I have never been for dinner, but I've been for breakfast 4 times and have never been let down. Enjoy!

food is an above avg buffet.

I liked the food- but DS11 and DN7 LOVED it- primarily because there are a lot of sweets. The buffet is pretty much standard for Disney (which in my mind is good) The characters are great there (I think Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, Dale)

The dinner buffet is on the same level as Golden Corral-- it's just standard food. Not bad, but not outstanding. You are really there for the characters, though.

We went to Chef Mickey's for our DD's first birthday last year and it was a blast! The character interaction is great and the food was decent. It is pretty standard buffet fare...pastas, chicken, some seafood, etc...
I had not been to this buffet before, so I wasn't aware of the lg. dessert selection they had. I ordered our DD a special Minnie birthday cake, but think that they can bring a cupcake from the buffet to your table w/ a candle. Call ahead and make a request for this.
