Yes, I've read the reviews and know CM doesn't have the best food. But all I care about is Donald!

So which one will I most certainly meet Donald? Chef Mickey's or Cape May?

At Allears they list Donald as an occasional character over at CM. Just my luck he'll not show up right on the day I'm there!

I will concur about the Chef M food being poor (to be kind), but I have yet to see Donald at Cape May so if that's the most important thing to you between teh 2 places, then do Chef Ms. The Cape may food is far better though, so for you it will be about your highest priority. And there is NOTHING wrong w/ a character at Disney taking priority over the food.

If you love Donald, I would recommend the Donald Safari Breakfast at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. They now have character meals for both breakfast and lunch.
Donald is the main character here. They also have Mickey, Goofy and Daisy and they are all in safari outfits. This is the only character meal with Daisy.
The breakfast was really good food. It's right next to Kilamanjaro safaris; we walked right on after our meal.

I have been to both resturants for breakfast numerous times and Donald has always been at both....Chef Mickeys has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto.....and Cape May Cafe has Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. There hasn't been a time that I didn't see Donald at either one....Hope this helps.
