Finally finding time to make a post about our recent trip to the WDW area. Not a intense trip report, but just a brief summary of our quick visit to the area. My family just took a trip to Florida's Gulf coast (Siesta Key -- OMG prettiest place I've ever been), but on our way home, we stopped in the Disney area and ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's to celebrate my oldest daughters 16th birthday. This was also my 5 year old daughters very first time in the Disney area. Sadly we didn't get a chance to do any parks, but she had a great time regardless! We spent most of our time there wandering around Downtown Disney and shopping
. We stayed off site at the Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista. This was a great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, and a great pool area. We arrived at Downtown Disney in the early afternoon, and it was HOT! We were hungry, so we FINALLY tried the infamous Earl.. Oh so yummy! DTD wasn't too crowded at this time, but when we came back that night, it was like a pack of sardines! Still fun though
We didn't tell the little one that we were going to Chef Mickey's until the morning of... Oh boy, she was excited. She was wearing her princess dress (though later was upset that I didn't bring the Minnie dress.. not sure what I was thinking! LOL Oh well). We didn't have to wait too long.. had our photo taken in the mean time.. including Aurora's mini (her spankin' new Aurora doll, bought with her own money at WofD). The cast members were great to include her. We didn't have to wait too long before we were seated. Little one was full of wonder, looking around, taking it all in. When she got her first glimpse of one of the characters (Goofy), she was beaming! Once at our table, they started in with the celebration song, and she saw more characters dancing around. I could just tell that she was going to have a blast! Here are some pictures from the day..
Cannot wait to take the girls back, hopefully next year, and do the whole Disney experience! Until now, I'll just have to dive back in to planning

Hannah and her birthday cupcake
Girls with Pluto
Little one can hardly contain her joy!
Little one meeting Mickey for the very first time! And what does she tell him? That he should marry Minnie! LOL
Kisses for the birthday girl!
Little one tells Minnie that she told Mickey it was time to marry her! Minnie LOVED it!

Little one tells Goofy that she is goofier than he is! Needless to say, Goofy had to prove her wrong...
... However she had a little help from her sisters, so I think it was a tie!
Enter Donald.... and Little one is a suck up. Tells him that he should be the star of Disney... and that he's number 1! Of course Donald LOVED that and high 5'd her (x2)!
More kisses for the birthday girl...
... and her sister.. I think Donald's a MAJOR flirt!
