Chef Mickey's vs Crystal Palace for dinner?

We're doing one of these character dinners. We've done both, but not for many years. We were a little disappointed with CM the last time we were there, not sure if that's because we weren't in the main dining room. Which do YOU prefer (please only vote if you've done both fairly recently). (Doesn't matter too much which characters we see...I'd love to see Eeyore, of course, but who doesn't want to see Mickey?) Thanks for your input!

I have always enjoyed Crystal Palace more the Chef Mickey's. It always seems like the food is better.

I know people love Chef Mickey's..but I personally found it to be too loud and was not at all impressed with the food.
Crystal Palace on the other hand has always been ejoyable for me..I think I've been there 4 or 5 times now. The food is always good and we don't feel rushed and I love to have a nice place to sit down in the middle of my MK day!

Although I love seeing Mickey and Donald, we prefer Crystal Palace - especially for dinner. I think they have more of a selection and the food is a bit better. We do, though, always get Chef Mickeys for breakfast. It's fun and always a nice start before heading off to MK.

I've been Chef Mickey's twice for dinner with my kids and once for breakfast when I was a teenager. I liked it.

We did Crystal Palace once this past year for dinner. It was OK.

To be honest, the food quality seems almost the same, although I liked the desserts at Chef Mickey's better. The big difference was in service. We probably just had a bad waitress at Crystal Palace, because the service was atrocious. The server didn't come to get plates ever, and only refilled drinks once.

I've heard people complain about Chef Mickey's service, so I guess it depends on your wait staff. You might want to decide where to go based on which characters you like better.

We had a dinner reservation at Crystal Palace and were done right when fireworks were going to start. Just walked onto the front porch and had great view of the fireworks. Food was great as well as character interaction.

truthfully, the quality of food is the same. So basically your choice boils down to Mickey or Pooh...

We liked the food at CP better than CM for dinner.
