Chef Mickey's question

We prefer breakfast. But I must tell you that after trying several of the Disney buffets at dinner and breakfast we have determined that we prefer the buffets for breakfast. We just are not impressed with their buffet dinners.

I agree that the breakfast is better...We were also not impressed by any of the lunch/dinner buffets...But the breakfast is great!

Personally, I love the dinner, but that seems to be a minority opinion around here. The breakfast is just your typical breakfast foods - nothing all that special.

We loved Dinner also

We haven't done a breakfast before but certainly would attend again for a dinner.

Thanks for the feedback. :goodvibes

I'm considering doing a later breakfast ADR and making it a brunch. What is the latest ADR time available?

Breakfast by far!! Have eaten b'fast there many times...always good & like a brunch. Went to CM's for dinner for the 1st time last Aug. & it was the worst buffet we ate at the whole trip...limited variety compared to other buffets...pretty lame.

I'm definitely booking a breakfast :thumbsup2

I'm interested in knowing more about breakfast. We have done Cape May cafe for character dining before and love it, so how will Chef Mickeys compare?
Do they have an ice cream bar with toppings set up for "breakfast dessert"?

Are things like baked egg "frittata" and vegetables like asparagus avaialable for breakfast?

bagel/lox/cream cheese capers, onion....?

Let me know what you have eaten there!

We booked a late breakfast during both of our visits and had it count for our lunch. This option was great for our family as we did MK in the morning and then took the monorail over around 11:00 for brunch. My kiddos love breakfast foods at all times during the day!

No ice cream bar...They have cereals and treats at that station for breakfast...There is an egg frittata with veggies but I do not think asparagus...They also have an egg pizza...They have bagels and all the fixings...Do not know if there are capers because I have never looked for them...Lots of fruit...

They have a cheese potato dish that I love...I am sure it is a million calories but it is too good not to eat....They also have potato cakes that are just too good to resist.

11:00 a.m is a perfect time!

We really loved the breakfast and can't wait to go back in March!

I haven't done breakfast since the 90's, so I can't say for sure. We like dinner, though.

We like breakfast better. They are both standard buffet foods (we don't go there for the food but for the characters) but breakfast is cheaper and since it's a must do, we usually just go to breakfast.

They have all traditional breakfast fare (including the most amazing corned beef hash ever!)...they also have great french toast - mmmmm. Our family favorite was missing the last time we went, a sweet pizza with peanut butter, jam, and marshmallows...we tried to duplicate it at home but it just wasn't the same.

Yea breakfast is much better in my opinion. I have been to dinner once and dont get me wrong it was good. However, breakfast was amazing! The food is just the best!!! Sometimes, you even get to partake in trivia and win some cool prizes!

Thanks so much for the info on what they serve. I have 1 more question.

if we have the last breakfast seating, is there any chance the ice cream bar would be open, or is that firm that it is only for dinner, not even served at brunch times?
