Chef Mickey's PS and Fireworks show?

I have a PS at Chef Mickeys for 7:30 on a Friday night -- I saw on the calendar of events that the Wishes Spectacular is at 8:45 that night--- where on the Contemporary property can we watch the fireworks? We are not staying at the Contemporary-- but will be there when the fireworks start-- any ideas or suggestions?

There is a viewing balcony outside of the California Grill, on the 15th floor of the Contemporary. You have to walk through the restaurant to get there.

Do you have to tell anyone in the California grill that you are "walking through" to get to the viewing area? thanks!

we didint love the crouded view from on top of the CA Grille. Id try and be on the ferry over to the MK at fireworks time. or better yet book a cruise.

We did that. Just tell the hostess that you want to see the fireworks from the balconey. Should be no problem.
