My family and I want to have a buffet breakfast on our first park day this trip. We want to either one of these (no others please). We have a car so travel will not be an issue. Please tell me why you would do one or the other or why you wouldn't do it.

*for some reference* we have done Chef Mickey's before but not in a long while for breakfast and we have never done trails end ever. We don't have to have characters because kids are more focused on food than anything else now a days.

Would love to hear some opinions from anyone about real issues, loves, hates, and any thing that may be helpful for me and family to decide!

Thanks in advance for your helpful advice in advance!!!

We really love Trails End. Its a bit out of the way, so its a peaceful place to get a meal. The food is very good [I think excellent] and the price is one of the more friendly options at the World. I look at the place as a "best kept secret"....

Never been to Chef Mickey's...no desire. Sorry!

We have never been to Trails End but I have heard good things and when I saw the price... For my family of 4 Disney adults, I will save around $80. I have seen reviews of Chef Mickey's lately that have not been so good. I just want to see what people think of either place or both if they have been there. Thanks for your encouragement towards Trails End! :thumbsup2

My family and I went to Trails End last May for breakfast. It was fantastic and food was fresh on the buffet. The manager came by and checked on us several times. The restaurant was not full and the atmosphere is more relaxed. I found this to be a great option since my girls 19 and 25 at the time don't care about the characters. Also try the juices on the buffet line, they were great.

My family raved about Trails End breakfast. They are very picky & loved it.

I haven't seen a really bad review of it yet. But Chef Mickey's gets panned occasionally. I would rather try a new place that gets good reviews for good food and save money in the process. Thanks for your input! :thumbsup2

I guess I should have mentioned that we adore Chef Mickey's!! I think I've been there well over 20X & have NEVER once had a bad meal. It has been very clean & always a fun time for both breakfast & dinner. It's so classic WDW.::MickeyMopluto: Dinner I love the mashed potatoes & salad selections. Breakfast pizza is a treat in the a.m. Love CM!!!

I should add that we have never had a bad meal at Chef Mickey's either! We like it but if I can save $80, still get a good meal, check a new place to eat off my check-list all at one time, I think we will go for that. Who knows, maybe we will be back to Chef Mickey's next time. Or maybe we will love Trails end so much it will become a must do. It's Disney, it's all good to me! :thumbsup2

Trails End is 'the' best for the money and over all relaxation.

Chef Mickeys is loud, crowded, and over priced - a 'no go' for us.
