Keep whichever fits into your plans for the day best.
Last year we had a 10:00 at 1900PF. We were running early so checked out the Contemporary and the Poly on our way to the GF. We were surprised that at 9:30 or so the Ohana line was huge and was louder than Chef Mickeys, which had no line at all So I think noise and wait are variable, depending on how many no shows or late arrivals they get.
I had reservations at Chef Mickeys at 7:15am on Saturday and we were one of the first groups seated. By the time we got to the buffet, half of the items were cold. The characters were all great and the whole process was pretty organized but it was a definite mad house in there. If your paying OOP, I'd go with Ohana.
Another vote for O'hana's. I like the characters better at Chef Mickey's, but the food is so much better at O'hana's. CM used to be really good. I still go to CM, though.
Chef Mickey's not just for the characters but also for the food. It's really good. But I guess it depends what your doing after that, like which park you're going to afterwards.
Love Ohanas!!
Very enjoyable breakfast atmosphere.
I think Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto are so much fun and they're
not rushed. Good Food, best Juice.
Food is served Family style so you don't even have
to get up and it's all you care to eat. I just love the Poly
We have done both several times, and I must say that Ohana is more on the hectic side to us. We have always waited longer to be seated at Ohana, than Chef Mickey. With that said we absolutely LOVE both places and make it a point to eat at both regardless of the sound level and hecticness. But Ohana can be way louder and busier. We enjoy the dinner over the breakfast at Ohana too.
