We have ADR's at Chef Mickey's but after reading some of the reviews, I'm wondering if we shouldn't try to switch to LTT.
Can those who have eaten at both compare food and character interaction?

We have eaten at both (Chef Mickey's dinner and breakfast) LTT just dinner. We really enjoyed both. I would probably prefer CM because of the character interaction. At CM you get Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale to your table. You also get Donald and Pluto but only in the reception area. It is louder and higher energy than LTT. We love the food at LTT but it depends on what you like. I recommended the food there and was later flamed when someone insisted that I must eat frozen Swanson dinners all the time to enjoy food at LTT. Oddly enough, we are very careful about what we eat due to our son's allergies and rarely eat frozen foods :confused3 go figure! CM is a buffet style dinner and LTT it is family style served to your table. LTT is a little more subdued than CM with regards to the character interaction. If my memory serves me correctly the characters at LTT are Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale and Meeko. I personally feel that you cannot go wrong either way. Enjoy your trip!

::MickeyMo Hmmm...that's a tough one. We really enjoy both, but LTT wins it. However, this upcoming trip we're skipping Chef Mickey's and sticking with LTT. ::MinnieMo

Just ate a LTT on 10/06 and we thought it was awesome. the character interaction was wonderful, we had a 2, 4 & 6 yr old with us and they were just totally entertained the entire evening. The food was good, but not the best. We tried it mainly for the interaction with the characters. I have only eaten one time at CM and that was quite a few years ago. If I remember correctly the character interaction :flower: was pretty good there too. I guess it's a tough call.

We have done both - dd4 LOVES CM and will deem it the best place to eat ever. It is a more fun atmopshere with kids dancing and twirling napkins with the characters. There is also Mickey and Donald there who are missing at LTT. The buffet is huge and plentiful. If you get a late ressie though be prepared to wait as they usually get backed up. I HIGHLY recommend an ADR earlier then 5:30pm for dinner. Character interaction is always good. We have been there 3x for dinner.

LTT was very nice as we did it for MNSSHP this past week. The interaction was great and service wonderful. The food was very good too and you do not have to get up, they serve it to you. It is a more relaxed atmosphere and convinient that you do not have to leave the park to eat. I would have to say that it wasn't very cool in there though - not sure if that was just an off day with the A/C.

Overall - if your kids truly LOVE the characters and enjoy dancing, interaction etc.. - then CM is a great place. If your kids are more shy or you just really rather relax then LTT is your place.

Thanks, everyone! :flower:
I think we'll stick with CM's- my kids are dancing fools! :cool1:
And our ressie is at 5:05pm, so we should be good there!
Actually, we didn't have any trouble getting our ADR's at only 5 weeks out from our trip- I think because our family schedule is what USED to be normal but isn't any longer. LOL. Since we homeschool, most of our kids' activities are during the day, so we still eat lunch at 11:30 or noon at the latest, and dinner around 5 or 5:30.

You will be happy with your decision! We did both CM and LTT this past trip and while I like the food a tad more at LTT, CM was more fun hands down!

We didnt care for LTT and have enjoyed Chef Mickeys three different trips so that would be our choice!
