Trying to decide which breakfast to do. Have not done either one. Have done CRT, CP, and Grand Floridian in the past, but want to try a different one. I have 2 DD's (7 -- her birthday trip, and 3). They would be happy, I think, at either one, but of course it is the mom who can't decide. We are staying at Poly so both would be easy to get to for breakfast.

Anyone out there want to sway me in one direction??????

I haven't done Chef's Mickey, but we have done Ohana's. We Love O'Hana, the last time we did it the characters were Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale. We are looking forward to doing it with Lilo and Stitch. the food is Great and Plenty of it. They have a parade around the restaurant with the kids with musical instruments. The Character interaction was nice, they gave a good amount of time at the tables and were back many times before breakfast was over. The view was worth it to, to see the Castle while we ate. I have been debating where to go and I think We are going to chose Ohana's again.

From a pure food-based standpoint, I chose Chef Mickey's when faced with the same decision. I think Ohana's offers scrambled eggs, Mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, and pineapple bread. Brought to the table in family style skillets (plus juice, coffee, etc). Chef Mickey's is an actual buffet with a lot of choices. For me, I don't eat hardly any eggs, and the only things I would've eaten at Ohana's are the waffles and bread. So, Chef Mickey's was the better choice for me. So, I would take food into consideration as well if that is a concern of yours. Have fun wherever you end up, though! :wizard:

We've only done Chef Mickey's for dinner, but I can tell you there is great character interaction.

I didint realize that lilo and stitch dotn always show up, is that often??? I just booked this for my mom as a surprise to see stitch, her favorite, and I would be dissapointed to pay $40 if stitch wasnt there is there like a shcedule of days when he appears??

thanks for the imput.....I am going to double check the menus for both and then let my dd, the one having the bday during trip, to decide on that. I am not a big breakfast eater, so neither menu really thrills me -- sure it is all good I just don't like eggs and such.

Thanks again!

They just changed the Characters, it used to be Mickey and Friends, now it is Lilo and Stitch. They just realized with the theme of the restaurant and Hotel that the characters should have always been Lilo and Stitch.

Whew, I thought i had read on the menu it was Lilo and Stitch and i think a couple of others and I understand taht character entertainment is subject ot change for w/e reason but i mean the one reason for coming was stitch..lol..thnaks for lettin game know, the poster must have been referring to an older dining experience, got me all worried..lol

We like them both but if you want a more variety of food, I would do Chef Mickey's since it is a buffet. Character interaction is great. Too bad you cannot do them both. They are both wonderful. :)
