Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace

If I could only chose one it would be Crystal Palace.

they're both good experiences as far as character meals go and my kids have always liked them both - but for the experience you are describing I think being at MK for the opening and rope drop makes CP the better choice.

I'd pick Chef Mickeys actually - neither choice has particularly good food, but for me its so magical to cruise into the Magic Kingdom via monorail after breakfast....I love it!

Pooh and Tiger are the little guy's favorites. We have been making it our first dining top for lunch every year we go., #8 next year
