I have had dinner at both and breakfast at Cape May. Might have been the seating but I felt like I was on top of the people next to us..Very tight quarters. Crowded. That I recall! Anyone prefer one over the other for breakfast? Are the offerings similar? Fresh Fruit is a must...Me,DH and DD12 so characters are cute but interaction time not a big deal...thanks!

These two are very similar as far as seating options go. The tables are close! If you don't care about character interaction and don't have the need to be dining near the MK I'd vote for Cape May.

Thanks ironically enought that is the day we check into YC so Cape May SEEMED logical but that seating bugged me last year. I think I will just request/wait for a table that is not a booth I am sharing with another family!!!! Thanks!

We loved the breakfast at Cape May. also used to love the breakfast at the Maya Grill in Coranado Springs. Would love for them to bring back the buffet.

We like Chef Mickey's for breakfast. It is a must do for each trip. Since we will be staying at the BC, we are trying Cape May for Dinner. Never been to Cape May. :flower3:

If you like snow crab legs and steamed little neck clams, you'll be happy.

I think that the buffet offerings are pretty similar and I recall plenty of fresh fruit (and biscuits with gravy...my favorite!) at both.

I have felt very crowded at Chef Mickey's, but never at Cape May. We've always been seated in a booth for 4 or a table up against a wall and maybe that's why. The character breakfast at Cape May seems to me to be much more relaxed than Chef Mickey's.

100% I would chose Cape May. I have never felt crowded there. Request a booth at check in. I also think the food is a cut above the choices at Chef Mickey's.

Love Cape May for bkfst. I remember LOTS of fruit on the buffet...berries, melons.

Whenever we went it was summer time and the restraunt was packed, but there was still plenty of room. Didnt feel crowded at all.

Cape May without a doubt. I wouldn't go back to Chef Mickey's if you paid me to go... Unless you fed me first... :lmao:

My last few trips to Chef Mickey's has not been good. The bacon is like cardboard, no taste whatsoever. And the price is getting ridiculous. JMO
