I am trying to decide between 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's for my sister's birtday dinner. I currently have ps for both, but I want to call and cancel one before we leave so that someone else can have it. She will be turning 25 years old. She loves all the characters, so it really comes down to two things -

Which one has the better food?

And

Which one will make a bigger fuss over her birthday?

Any thoughts?

Defiantly try Chef Mickey's! Alot of people are complaining about 1900 park fare's buffet (illness).

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not worried about getting sick, though. We've eaten breakfast at 1900 lots of times and never had any problems. In fact, we've always found the breakfast food at 1900 to be much better than the food at Chef Mickey's. I'm interested to hear how the dinners compare, though, since we've never had dinner at either place. I was kind of thinking that 1900 might have better food, but Chef Micky's might make a bigger deal over her birthday.

I really like the food at Chef Mickey's!:D

Great potatoes! Yummy!

For dinner I would go with Chef Mickey's. The prime rib and mashed potatoes along with the shrimp is great. It is also more of a party place with singing and napkin waving every half hour or so.

We just returned and the food quality is a hands down winner at PF (we ate CM's dinner too). This is not coming from a blind PF lover either. We have eaten at PF in past trips and planned on passing this year because the food quality wasn't too great the past couple of trips. They have fixed that. The food was the best dinner buffet we've probably ever had. CM's is okay. But they really seem to neglect the food quality at CMs and focus on the entertainment portion of the meal.

I asked our server if PF had changed chefs since last year - since we noticed such a change in the hot foods. Our server said they had changed chefs twice in the 6 months she has been there.
