Chef Mickey's Lunch?

I have a 2:30p ADR on 8/27. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of food there will be, and what time lunch hours are. I've done Chef Mickey's before, for dinner at one of the last sitting and I all the food was cold. I'm hoping that's not the case for my lunch.

I also need info on the lunch! I just had to cancel Tempura Kiku for one of my dinners and we made lunch ressies for CM. I've done the breakfast but not lunch.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Chef Mickey's!

But maybe not for lunch. If this is the only time you can get in..then go. BUT if you are able to get breakfast or dinner those are much better.

I went last year in Aug for lunch. There were pasta choices,salad,and sandwiches (cold cut type). I and my family were quite disappointed. Maybe the menu will be changed this year but we thought the food wasn't very satisfying.

When I booked my lunch res. for Chef Mickey's, I was told the menu would be nearly identical to the dinner menu. So hopefully, the CM I spoke to had the correct info.

When I called today to make my final payment for my September trip. I asked what time lunch ended at it ends at 3pm.
I didn't ask about menu as the girl was very pushy. She told me it would be fine to have an ADR at close. I told her I knew I'd be seated, but that last year I had a 9pm CM's and I refue to do a close again. The food was cold and horible.
Now I have to decide if I want to eat that late, or if I want to cancel. Maybe I'll just try to show up earlier and see if they'll seat me (we're a party of 2). I've had good luck with that in the past.

Congrats!

Call back, get the menu info. If its something you'd like then go, but I'd complain and make them make it right if the hot food is cold. I doubt it will be a problem though. If the menu is a lot like dinner, and dinner is less than 2hrs away, they'll have plenty of fresh stuff ready for the dinner buffet.

for kids, there will also be mac & cheese, chicken strips, and cheese pizza

She didn't have any info on the desserts that will be served.
