chef mickey's is up in price now too

I hate to be a complainer , but its reather annoying that now Chef Mickey's is now 27.00 for breakfast Adults and 15.00 for kids during holidays.

It was bad enough that CRT breakfast went up for our Xmas Eve breakfast, I was not thrilled with that but have never eatten there so ok I will deal with it.

I am on DDp but planned actually both these meals to be OOP for us. So much for thinking I may save a few bucks!

Is breakfast here worth 27.00 a adult and 15.00 a child ???
Its NOT a "holiday meal" these are only holiday prices

Chef Mickey's is always a must on our trips to WDW. I would pay the higher price because this is our favorite character breakfast.

Chef Mickey's is a must do for us!! We are on the dining plan, so the price increase will not affect us as long as it is still 1 credit!

I have to say that I am to the point in my life that I just can't justify a breakfast buffet being $27, even if Mickey comes by. For $27, I want an amazing meal served to me AND Mickey had better still come by to see me.

I love WDW. We have the dining plan for our upcoming trip. With the changes coming next year with tips not being included in the dining plan, I just don't see us doing it again. Then again, while I would love to go to WDW every year, Gabby wants to go some new places, so it may be another 2 or 3 years before we get back to the Mouse after our trip this year. Maggie

I am not sure if Ohana's is the same today as it was 2 years ago, but Ohana's had the basics served at your table and Chef Mickey's is the traditional buffet with a wide variety of food items. For example, Chef Mickey's has breakfast pizzas, all types of fruits, Mickey shaped waffles and pancakes, all types of patries and muffins, fruits, cereals, as well as the basics such as sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns etc.

The phrase"saving a few bucks" and Disney world is pretty much an oxymoron!

As of 2/07 CM Dinner is $26.99, if the holiday breakfast buffet is going to include a lot of dinner items I can see the price increase for "breakfast". Check to see if the menu has been enhanced for the holidays.

If eating is your priority vs the character interaction (thus OOP) take a look at the Yacht Club Galley, Adults $15.99; Children (3-9) $8.99. Its a more limited menu, but lower priced buffet.

Spoodles has an all you care to eat breakfast (french toast, eggs, meats) for $11.99A/$5.99C.

Please note all prices I list are on current menus. I don't even know how to get any holiday prices!

We used to go to breakfast at CM because it was more cost effective than dinner there. Now we'll skip it altogether. The food is less than mediocre IMHO, and not worth the $$$.

We've done both breakfasts, and I like 'Ohana better. Chef Mickey's has a much bigger variety of food, but 'Ohana is more relaxing and my kids are big Stitch fans. The food at 'Ohana was more than enough to fill us at breakfast time.

2008 DDP has not been announced and it is all rumor still. Last year they announced the 2007 DDP pricing in August, until then, it is all rumor!!
