Chef Mickey's - How Long?

We want to eat at Chef Mickey's and then go see Spectromagic. How long does it take to eat there? How long does it take for all of the characters to come around?

I'm not sure if the time it takes is the same for breakfast and dinner, but I went there for breakfast and it was my longest wait to get a table (with an adr even) and longest breakfast. I think the whole ordeal was like over 2 hours. BUT it was a favorite meal.

It takes longer for the characters to come around than it does to eat (it's a buffet). I would allow 2 hours to be safe, but it is probably closer to an hour and a half.

From start to finish, an hour and a half is about right

We were just there for dinner on Saturday. Our ADR was at 6:10 but we got there early and were seated at 5:30. We were halfway done eating before the first character got there (I think they just finished our area when we showed up so we had to wait for them all to come back). We also headed to MK to watch Spectro afterwards. We got to MK around 7:15. I am glad we checked on getting in early because if we hadn't of we wouldn't have made it over there in time.

It takes about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour after having your picture taken.

We had the longest wait of any restaurant at CM's...but it was our favorite meal. IIRC, our ADR was around 5:30-ish, and all in all, it took about 2 hours. We still ended up getting a good spot on Main Street for Spectro.

When we did breakfast at CM this year, it was a full 2 hours from the time we walked up to the door to the time we were walking out of the contemporary.

We were there on Thursday (09/24) for dinner. I had a 6:20 reservation but was seated at 6:15pm. We could have been out of there by 7pm but our waitress was awful and we had to wait forever for the bill. We left about 7:20 and I caught the Monorail back to MK and made it just in time for Spectromagic. Be prepared for a lot of people to be coming in at the same time and for the parade to start on Mainstreet. I managed to see it from the top of the railway station. If you haven't made your reservation try for something earlier like 5pm.
