Chef Mickey's Help!!!

I go away to WDW in 33 days. We are staying at CSR and I would really love to get a reservation at Chef Mickey's or Tusker House for Breakfast, what are my chances? It would be my sisters Graduation present from me......Is this going to work???? HELP!

Hi,

No one here can tell you for sure...just call Disney Dining RIGHT NOW and ask them. You should be able to get something at Tusker House, CHef Mickey's will probably be more difficult. But keep calling every day and keep trying even after you arrive.

Thanks for the info. Do you need your room reservation number to book a dinner reservation? I booked through a travel agent and she didn't give it to us yet. If it's need then I will call and get it from her but if it isn't I won't bother.

No need for any type of room info... you can book dining on its own. Good luck!

Thanks very much everyone. If I can't get Chef Mickey's I think I'll try Cape May Cafe Breakfast....Has anyone done that before?

We love Cape May for Breakfast. It is a good Choice.

There is most likely a better chance at getting into Cape May's then Chef Mickey's....Which characters are at Cape May's

We've done breakfast at the all, but what I like about Chef Mickey's is the photo they take when you come in of the whole family. We are doing CM, CP, TH all for breakfast in May. it can't get here fast enough for me.

I`m going to try for chef mickey`s first and if i can`t get in to that I`ll go for Cape May....When you call to book the reserevation do you have to pay ahead of time? (ei with a credit card)

No, only certain restaurants require a cc hold. Chef Mickey's and Cape May do not. Enjoy!

Other good choices if you can't get those include:

Ohana (this has some of the classic characters plus Lilo and Stitch
It is a family style breakfast (all you can eat, but food is brought to you and served on lazy susan).

Crystal Palace (Great buffet in MK, Pooh characters).

well i just got off the phone with Disney dining and Chef Mickey's breakfast is completely booked for my dates....which is too bad. But I did get a reservation for Cape May Cafe. I'm really looking forward to surprising my sister with this...Its going to be her grad present from me!

If anyone has any pictures from Cape May Cafe I'd love to see them!
