Chef Mickeys for...

Just did dinner there the other night. No children in our party of 4.

My husband remarked it was like having dinner in a preschool.

The food was fine but not as varied as the breakfast at the Crystal Palace Buffet was....that I would have liked more....more variety.

But I had prime rib that was good. Mashed potatoes were fine.

Mickey shaped ravioli was fine.

Chicken nuggets and pizza and mac & cheese were enjoyed by my son and his gf.

Desserts were ok, our server was GREAT!!! Never had to ask for more drinks...

He was awesome and we took a pic with him too!

The characters were AWESOME!!! Not only did they come around, sign autographs and take pics...they wandered around a second time and took MORE pics....in addition to the dancing and music..

it was a very happy time.....Glad we did it, but would probably try the breakfast there the next time...

Chef Mickey is our FAVORITE!!!

It is the only restaurant we have gone to on every one of our trips. We eat there twice every trip, one breakfast and one dinner. We go for our Thanksgiving dinner and always, always our last meal before we leave for a late breakfast. We love the food at both but I have to say breakfast is our favorite. I am not a breakfast person, though DH and kids are, but even I love it. Last month when we were there they had added french toast that was out of this world good!!!

We never have waited but maybe 5-10 minutes past our ADR time and don't find the kids to be a problem at all. Maybe we have been lucky, but it would have to be really bad to make us not return, we just adore it!!!

at CM, after the characters came around twice, a cast member came around to ask if all the characters made it to our table...I was impressed by their concern...

Yes, we have always had that happen to us there as well. Last month at breakfast we saw all the characters twice but somehow Pluto had missed us (it is our DD9's favorite, and we were all wearing Pluto shirts so I really wanted a photo). He came over and spent at least 5 minutes with us, posed for photos, played keep away with DD9's stuffed Pluto with her and her sisters and a waiter. Then he put the stuffed Pluto on his nose, tossed it in the air and caught it in his mouth and also danced with her. I felt a little guilty, but it was fun!
