Chef Mickeys for dinner

Ive only ever done breakfast at Chef Mickeys, and it was yummy! How do you like the dinner menu? Can you compare it to any other of Disneys buffets? We've done Crystal Palace and Cape May Cafe, is it about the same at Chef Mickeys?

We've only been for dinner once - years ago - IIRC it was standard buffet fare, but the characters were great - we're going again in May to see the characters - two adults though.

I agree, we have only done CM for dinner. The food was good, however I wouldn't say it was outstanding. We loved the character interaction and how fun the whole place was. I did have an ADR for breakfast for our upcoming trip but had to cancel due to us changing our dates....I wasn't able to get another ADR

We thought the food at CM was better than CP (though we are returning to CP as we prefer the characters!). Some lovely choices, and food I hadn't seen at the other buffets!

We love CM's for dinner... I think its the only buffet where you can get mickey shaped ravioli's and mickey roni and cheese ( shaped as mickey!!). It was lots of fun!

We were at CM 2 week ago and they cut back on the menu BIG TIME. The kids buffet i the only thing that stayed the same since a year ago. The food wan't very good, the only food I ate was from the the childen' buffet becausethe adult buffet only had 6 selectons and the only thing I was intrested in (the mashed potatoes) was cold.

The only reason we ever went to CM was for the characters and the make your own sundaes bar (YUMMY) but next year we won't return. CP is so much beter, the food is the best in disney (according to my family).

Cape May Cafe is also a lot better then CM.

When we were there 2 weeks ago they had gotten rid of the micky shapedravioli's and the macaroni and cheese wasn't mickey shaped

We ate there once and the food was terrible but the characters were awesome. Going to try breakfast there next week

Our group of 9 is going Chef Mickeys in a few weeks. We went to CP last night and did not like the food at all (really the only bad meal we had last year). We are looking forward to the characters and hoping for at least an average meal. Either way, it will be fun for all.

Breakfast is much better than dinner at CM. I thought the dinner food was terrible and not at all worth the price.

I agree that breakfast is better than dinner. We love CM's and had been to many breakfasts but back in Nov we decided to give dinner a shot since it worked better into our plans. Well, I have to say I was very disappointed. I really thought there would be more choices and the ones I tried I have to say that most were not the greatest (and I am NOT a 'foodie' who holds foods to a really high standard). I even ended up with a piece of my kids' pizza just to fill up because the adult fare was disappointing me so much.

We've decided to stick to breakfast there from now on.
