Chef Mickey's for Breakfast then MK. What about parking??

So we're staying offsite for the first time ever. We have ADR at Chef Mickey's for breakfast on Tuesday. We'll spend the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom.

Can I park at the Contemporary for my breakfast resi, leave my car there all day and just take the monorail to and from the park??

nope. Park at the TTC and take the Monorail in.

Here is a little known completely legit trick. (Cause I'm always afraid to be the one that gets busted I tend to follow the rules). You can valet your car at Contemporary and return that night to retrieve it. Valet is good for 24 hours.
I'm sure if everyone started to do that they wouldn't allow it but right now most people don't because you don't save any money at all doing it. In fact adding valet tip costs more than parking in the lot.

General resort parking is not for visiting the theme parks. You may park there during your reservation, but then you need to move your car.

Not a trick, but perfectly legitimate. If you were going to park at MK, then might as well valet park at the Contemporary. We do it often and there's never an issue or objection. We tell the guard that we will valet park.

Nope only if you velet park. Otherwise you are given a 2-3 hour pass for your meal and be warned they will tow your car and the towing fine is stiff.
