We are staying at the Contemporary and I feel like I need to take the kids to Chef Mickeys. Should we do breakfast or dinner?

I'm not totally thrilled with the menu at either one though I like the idea of the dessert bar at dinner and the price of the breakfast. We also will either do Crystal Palace for breakfast and O'hanas for dinner. But we can only swing 3 sit down meals total for our trip.

We haven't had their breakfast, but the dinner at Chef Mickey's was really good. We made a PS for 5:00, right when dinner starts so the food was fresh. We loved Crystal Palace for breakfast, made a PS for 8:00 before the park opened so by the time we were done with breakfast, we were right at the rope when the park opened! Have fun!

We love CMs for breakfast. Its become our must do. Theres really a great variety of food there and everything is delicious.
Ohana for dinner is another one of our favorites. Great food and a lot of fun.

We haven't been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but ate dinner there on our last three trips (2/99, 9/00 and 6/02). Loved it each and every time.

Enjoyed the food very much--yes, the dessert bar is ALL THAT--and the characters were a barrel of laughs each visit.

And I second the vote for Ohana's dinner. Love that place!

We've been to both dinner 2x's and breakfast 1x and we like the food better at dinner. I love the mashed potatoes!

Have only done the dinner at CM's but our family loves  it. It is a tradition now, that we eat dinner there on our first day, a great way to start the magic ::yes::

Can you see Wishes from Chef Mickey's?

we have done breakfast at chef mickeys both times we went in 2004 and we love it...that will be the first thing we book for our 2005 trip..the atmosphere is great ...all the characters make it a point to visit your table....it is so much fun..the breakfast is awesome....they have this vegetable lazagna that is sooo good...ohhh...there is something for everyone at breakfast....it is the best!!!

No you can not see Wishes from CM. It is on the 4th floor where the m,omorail comes through. The California Grill on the top is where you have to view wishes. I beleive that you have to have ressies now to enjoy that.

Have done CM for breakfast and we loved it. Great variety and saw all the chracters and had a great time. Will definitely do again :)

....a tradition in our family. We don't set foot in ANY park until we've eaten the buffet breakfast for our first morning at WDW, followed by a monorail ride directly to MK!!

Another point for CM breakfast. We only did one last year and everyone said it had to be that one. The character interaction was just awesome and the food was just fabulous. We booked it at 11:20 and made it a brunch and didn't have to eat any lunch and the food was still hot and fresh. There was even still people coming in after us.

We have also done CM's for breakfast and plan to do so again on our upcoming trip. There is a variety of food served and all the classic characters to interact with! :) We also turn this into a brunch after a morning at MK its a nice way to relax.

We had breakfast at Chef Mickeys and LOVED it! What a great way to start the day! We didnt have to wait in line to see Mickey and Minnie, what a time saver! We would of never seen Goofy, Chip, Dale or pluto if we hadnt gone to Chef Mickeys. My son loved standing up twirling his napkin. Goofy put on a great show, falling all over, just being goofy! Our waitress asked us what characters we still wanted to see so she could bring them over. We spent $50.00 for our all you can eat meals, saw our favorite characters, got great pictures and autographs! Later we ended up spending $40.00 at counter service for many meals. We wished we made more PS!! At counter service you have to wait in line, find a table in a crowded place to save $10.00 - $20.00. Im making PS everyday at 300pm next time!
