I currently have a ressie for CM's for breakfast, but am thinking of trying to get a dinner ressie instead. From what I understand now, the characters are the same at both, so the difference would be the cost and the food. Which would you say is better for food and character interaction?

I suggest keeping the breakfast ressie. The food at dinner is just so-so. Character interaction is pretty much the same at either meal.

I would say keep the breakfast. I've never been at dinner, but from what I hear breakfast is better. We have been there for brunch at 11:00 every trip and love it!!

I have not had breakfast there but have had dinner and I thought it was very good.

I've had breakfast there a few times and had dinner there once. We feel that not only is the food better at breakfast, we also had much better character interaction at breakfast.

I would keep your breakfast reservation.

I also vote breakfast. This has always been one of our favs for breakfast, but we tried it once for dinner and it was very disappointing.

I guess I'll lean toward keeping the breakfast then :) It's really early - 7:40am, but hopefully that means there will be less people and more interaction for my kiddos :)

Hi. We're thinking of dinner, because then we'll be at the Contemporary to go out on the 4th floor observation deck for the fireworks, then go downstairs and see the Water Electrical Parade. But, I have heard breakfast is better, too.

I think a 7:40 reservation might be one of the busiest time, just as a warning. Folks want to eat and get to the Magic Kingdom when it opens!!

I'll vote for dinner (This is saying something because generally I'll take breakfast over dinner any day). I thought the food for dinner was excellent and loved the desserts.

We went for breakfast once and weren't too impressed. Character interaction was about the same.

We do Breakfast, but scheduled around 10:30-11ish, that way it'll serve as Brunch and it's a little less crowded (we seem to get all the characters to ourselves too). It's great!

I asked this (here maybe, maybe not?) a while back and dinner won me over... Mickey domes on the dessert buffet. I saw a photo and well, we booked dinner!

I have both booked for Jan, currently. So I'll guess we'll see!

I'm a breakfast food lover but I can't wait to try those Mickey domes.

My vote is breakfast. I haven't ate the dinner, but my younger children LOVED the food & characters. We had a late breakfast, and things started really clearing out & I felt the character interaction and food variety was good.
